Upon learning of DSS Educational Institute’s expertise in Spanish it was an easy decision to make to get started. It has, in my honest opinion the most fun I have ever had learning in my life. The challenges were motivating and quite enjoyable. And the energy and enthusiasm la profesora exuded, even during her pregnancy, made every minute of every class feel very natural. I am in love with the idea of making a class trip to a Spanish speaking country upon graduating as it really is an exciting way to show off the skills you gained and be put into real life practice. I can encourage EVERYONE to enrol in this course. I have yet to find a downside or inefficiency in my dealings with DSSEI. I highly recommend.

As a secondary school student, Spanish was one of my least favourite subjects. I just did not enjoy it at all. However, as time marched on it became quite evident that it is a necessity to learn the language. Recognizing this need to learn, I decided to sign up with DSS Educational Institute to give myself a chance at learning something new and adding competency in a language to my personal growth. BEST DECISION EVER! As a teacher myself I completely appreciated Mrs. Bedeau-Phillip and her teaching strategies. Incorporating technology into the class really made the class interesting to me and had me involved in actively learning. Mrs. Bedeau-Phillip herself brings an enthusiasm and passion to her class and to her students when delivering her lessons. Where before I had found it tedious to study Spanish as a secondary school subject, I found myself really enjoying my time with DSS Educational Institute. I have always had a love for the language but for one reason or the other in the past, I found myself never really having the time to take it up, learn and continue learning. I learnt about DSS Conversational Spanish programme through a friend, who was interested in building his Spanish competency both generally and for work as well. So, I started the classes with the intent of building up my competency as well, and throughout the process, it reignited my passion for Spanish.
